Jessica Alba will star in Silverwood Films and iDeal Partners Fund's modern fable An Invisible Sign Of My Own, which Kimmel International chief Mark Lindsay will introduce to buyers here and Endeavor is representing for North America.

Marilyn Agrelo, who scored a hit with the 2005 Sundance documentary Mad Hot Ballroom, directs the story of an introverted maths teacher who uses her fascination for numbers to help her students with their problems. Shooting is set to begin in New York State in October.

Pam Falk and Mike Ellis wrote the screenplay and will produce with Silverwood Films' Lynette Howell and Jana Edelbaum while Rachel Cohen of iDeal and Jason Felts and Justin Berfield of J2 Pictures serve as executive producers.

Alba recently starred in The Love Guru and is represented by Endeavor Agency, Thruline Entertainment and Warren Dern.

iDeal is in post-production on Katherine Dieckmann's Motherhood starring Uma Thurman and John Hindman's The Dream Of The Romans starring Jeff Daniels, Lauren Graham and Lou Taylor Pucci. Silverwood Films is in post on The Greatest with Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon and Blue Valentine with Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams.
