Toronto-based Cinemavault Releasing has picked up international sales and Canadian distribution rights to Nik Fackler's directorial debut Lovely, Still, which premiered at Toronto and stars Martin Landau and Ellen Burstyn.

Cinemavault is presenting the picture in Berlin as the producers work on a new cut and plans to premiere the final version at the Cannes Film Market.

The picture will be released in Canada in the autumn and centres on an elderly man who falls in love for the first time during Christmas. Elizabeth Banks and Adam Scott also star.

Parts & Labor's Lars Knudsen and Jay Van Hoy produced with Dana Altman of North Sea Films and James Lawler. Serving as executive producers were Virgil Price of Sterling Productions, Jack Turner of White Buffalo Entertainment, and Ian McGloin, Charlie Ledley and Jamie Mai of Strange Loop Entertainment.
