Ron Sufrin hasbeen promoted to executive vice president of business and legal affairs at MGMHome Entertainment Group, where he will oversee business and legal affairs forthe company's home entertainment, video-on-demand, pay-per-view and consumerproducts operations.

Sufrin reportsto group president and chief operating officer David Bishop and Jay Rakow, MGMStudios' senior executive vice president and general counsel.

"Ron has playeda leading role in MGM's continued success in the home entertainment arena, bothdomestically and internationally," Bishop said in a statement.

"He is a savvyattorney who has demonstrated exceptional expertise and unparalleled skill inbusiness and legal affairs."

Sufrin joinedMGM's Home Entertainment Group in 1999 as senior vice president of business andlegal affairs.

Prior to that heserved at Paramount Pictures for more than 13 years, leaving as vice presidentof business affairs, video. Before joining Paramount, he worked for the USSecurities Exchange Commission.
