Summit Entertainment has acquired rights to the thriller Golden Gate that Tommy O'Haver will direct from a screenplay by Charles Bohl.

The film centres on an athletics star on the verge of success who is
helped by a dangerous new friend when a secret from her past threatens
to unravel her dream.

Craig Zadan and Neil Meron will produce through their A Zadan/Meron
Production label along with Alison Rosenzweig of Gaeta/Rosenzweig
Films. Michael Gaeta will serve as executive producer alongside Travis
Knox.

Summit's president of production Erik Feig will oversee the project
with director of development Gillian Bohrer and called Golden Gate 'a
whipsmart thriller with endlessly fun twists and turns.'

O'Haver directed An American Crime starring Catherine Keener and is
represented by WMA. Bohl's writing credits include Swimfan and he is
handled by Paradigm.
