Sundance Channel has acquired US television rights to I Am Because We Are, Madonna's documentary about the impact of the AIDS pandemic on Malawi.

Senior vice president of acquisitions, scheduling and programme planning Christian Vesper negotiated the deal with CAA.

Madonna is featured in the film which was directed by Nathan Rissman.
