Sundance Institute and BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) arelaunching the entertainment series Sundance Institute At BAM.

The series comprises film, theatre, musical performances, paneldiscussions, and filmmaker Q&A sessions among other events and is set torun from May 11 to 21 in various New York venues.

The series features artists that have been supported by SundanceInstitute's development programmes and includes 15 narrative and documentaryfeatures and a shorts programme selected from the recent festival in January.

Titles include Sherrybaby, Stephanie Daley, The Trials OfDarryl Hunt, and TVJunkie.

'Sundance Institute and BAM share a similar mission,sensibility and commitment to discovering and supporting the work of new andoriginal independent artists, and building an audience for their work,' SundanceInstitute president and founder Robert Redford said.

'As theInstitute enjoys its 25th anniversary, it is important to not only remember thepast but to celebrate the future. Through this series, we are bringing to NewYork audiences a taste of the work from artists that the Institute supports throughthe Sundance Film Festival and the Institute's development programmes in film,film music, and theatre.'
