ContentFilm International has sealed its second acquisition of a popular Sundance entry, taking foreign rights to POM Wonderful Presents:The Greatest Movie Ever Sold.

The company will commence talks with buyers at EFM on Morgan Spurlock’s well-liked film, a typically frenetic addition to the canon that explores product placement in cinema and was funded 100% by a number of brands, including title sponsor POM.

ContentFilm International negotiated the deal with CAA on behalf of the producers following days of intense interest from buyers in Park City.

Sundance is over now, but ContentFilm’s acquisition is a neat bookend of business on the film after SPWA announced on the first day of the festival [Jan 20] that it had taken rights to the US and Canada. Buyers in Germany will be aware that SPC plans a North American release in April.

ContentFilm International was active in Sundance and earlier in the festival acquired sales rights to Ian Palmer’s World Cinema Documentary entry Knuckle. HBO acquired remake rights and Revolver will release in the UK .
