New York premieres of Sundance 2008 hits American Teen, Anvil! The Story Of Anvil and Gonzo: The Life And Work Of Dr Hunter S Thompson are among the highlights of the third annual Sundance Institute at BAM series, set to run in New York from May 29 to June 8.

All in all 22 features and 36 shorts will screen alongside Q&As, theatre and music performances, works-in-progress and screenplay readings.

The Sundance Institute and the Brooklyn Academy Of Music have selected a line-up of features that includes American Son, Choke, Made In America and Stranded: I've Come From A Plane That Crashed On The Mountains, all of which screened in Park City this January.

Other highlights include a screenplay reading of Towelhead by Alicia Erian, who wrote the novel on which the script was based, and a monologue recital by Josh Kornbluth.
