UK producer Mairi Sutherland, who has worked with director Robbie Moffat through their Palm Tree Entertainment, has set up new company Fluorescent Productions to work with directors in addition to Moffat.

Her development slate includes WWII project Devils Harbour written by Jack MacLaughlan to be directed by Barry Campbell; Afghanistan-set love story Alliyah written by Chris Dollan to be directed by Kaus Haro; London-set drama Clive Curtis' Just One More Time; and Jack Len's The Little Prison about Iranian women.

Mairi Sutherland is also directing her first film this year, entitled Photoshoot, about a paparazzo who stalks an aging star only to have the star kidnap him.

Meanwhile, Palm Tree is seeking a sales agent for three new Moffat projects: Inside Out (just completed), Seven Crosses (in post) and The Sister's Grim (to shoot this month.)

Here at the EFM, Lizard Cinema Trade is closing a deal for DVD and TV rights to Moffat's Axe Raiders, after previously releasing Bone Hunter and The Winter Warrior.
