Producer Ted Hope will deliver the keynote address at Film Independent's fourth annual Filmmaker Forum, which takes place from September 26-28 in Los Angeles.

The forum will kick off on September 26 with a sneak preview of Summit Entertainment's The Brothers Bloom, which gets it world premiere here and stars Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo and was directed by Rian Johnson.

Topics under discussion on the panels on September 27 and 28 include distribution models, the international marketplace for independents and how to navigate the festival circuit. This year's forum will also feature a new documentary track with special sessions devoted to the marketplace, the future of documentary and budgeting.

'Ted's insight into the film community is vast and unique,' Film Independent's executive director Dawn Hudson said. 'He is both a film-maker and an advocate for the independent community who continues to break down barriers in cinema.'

'Independent Film has always represented the most innovative, bold, and truthful aspects of our film culture,' Hope said. 'As the film industry undergoes a paradigm shift we can count on the indies to lead the way. Far from the 'sky is falling', Film Independent's Filmmaker Forum will help show the thousand phoenix rising that will carry us into the new era.'
