ThinkFilm has announced itwill launch its new international sales division at Cannes headed up by veteraninternational executive Mark Horowitz.

Horowitz and his team will arrive on the Croisette with a slate that includesthe Sundance documentaries Murderball, about quadriplegic rugby players, The Aristocrats, which focuses on stand-up comedians, and LieWith Me, an erotic drama fromClement Virgo that was acquired at Sundance.

Also on offer will be The Last Mogul, a documentary about the legendary Hollywood player Lew Wasserman.

"In creating our international division we sought the same level of experienceand expertise we have in all facets of the company, and luckily Mark Horowitzwas available to supervise the launch," ThinkFilm president and chief executiveofficer Jeff Sackman said in a statement.

"My long friendship with Jeff Sackman and Mark Urman, and previousbusiness association with Robert Lantos, make this an exciting opportunity,"Horowitz added. "I'm looking forward to working with ThinkFilm on theinternational sales of their edgy, exciting, and eclectic slate."

Horowitz served as president of Alliance Atlantis Pictures International, theinternational sales and distribution division he formed and ran with AllianceAtlantis Entertainment from 1996-2002.

Prior to Alliance Atlantis Pictures International, Horowitz was executive vicepresident of international distribution at MDP Worldwide.

His career slate of international release campaigns range from Neil Jordan's TheGood Thief to the thriller JohnnyMnemonic starring Keanu Reeves andStacy Peralta's skateboarding documentary Dogtown And Z-Boys.
