Keanu Reeves and his Knock Knock co-star Ana de Armas will reunite on the thriller Daughter Of God that Fortitude International represents in Toronto.

Gee Malik Linton will direct from his screenplay about a detective investigating his partner’s death and a young Latina woman who experiences strange occurrences after witnessing a miracle. Cuban-born de Armas (pictured) has worked extensively in Spain.

Principal photography is scheduled to kick off in November and Fortitude’s Nadine de Barros is in town introducing the project to buyers.

Reeves, Linton and Robin Gurland are the producers and Cassian Elwes and Daughter Of God financier Daniel Grodnik serve as executive producers.

CAA jointly represents US rights with Elwes, who worked on Knock Knock and handles US sales on Toronto titles Black And White and also Shelter with UTA.

Fortitude International, the sales and financing venture launched earlier this year by de Barros, Robert Ogden Barnum and Daniel Wagner, is currently handling sales on The End Of The Tour starring Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Segal.

Linton is writing Solaris Entertainment’s upcoming Hong Kong martial arts crime saga The Seventh Swords.
