Rik Toulon has been named executive vice president and general counsel at CBS Films.
Toulon reports to CBS Films COO Bruce Tobey and will oversee all legal matters on behalf of the division.
He arrives from the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman where he served as partner in the firm's entertainment and media group since January 2001 and represented CBS, NBC Universal, Sony, Paramount, New Line, The Weinstein Company, Marvel Studios, MTV Networks, Microsoft and DirecTV.
Prior to Katten, Toulon was a principal in the entertainment and media group at Troop, Steuber, Pasich, Reddick and Tobey and a senior associate in the entertainment and media group at O'Melveny & Myers.
