The Tribeca Film Institute has announced the 33 winning projectsfor this year's Tribeca All Access Connects programme.

The programme was set up to foster stronger relations betweenUS-based filmmakers of colour and industry executives.

To facilitate this, organisers have arranged approximately 500meetings with representatives from more than 100 companies during the festivalfrom May 1-4.

The winning projects were chosen from 400 applicants and thefilmmakers represent the African American, Latino, Asian-American, NativeAmerican and Pacific Islander communities.

One filmmaking team in each category will be awarded the TribecaAll Access Creative Promise Award, which comes with a prize of $10,000 fornarrative and documentary and $5,000 for screenplay only. These winners will beunveiled at the Tribeca All Access awards and closing night party on May 4.
