The line-up includes the Tribeca Drive-In from Apr 21-23, the Family Festival Street Fair on Apr 30 and the free panel series Tribeca Talks: Pen To Paper and Tribeca Talks: Industry that run from Apr 23-30.

New this year is the NYFEST on Apr 23 run in association with sports brand Umbro that will host a series of football tournaments comprising industry five-a-side, celebrity and youth matches. New York-based filmmaker and former pro Jeffrey Saunders and SPC’s evp of acquisitions and production Dylan Leiner are organising the day.

“The Tribeca Film Festival was started nearly 10 years ago to revive culture and business in lower Manhattan, and showcase what Tribeca has to offer,” Tribeca Film Festival executive director Nancy Schafer said. “During each festival, we have featured a variety of free community events as our way of giving back to the city, and this year is no exception.”
