Erik Poppe's Norwegian-Swedish film Troubled Water won the 16th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival's Golden Starfish Best Narrative Feature and an awards package of more than $185,000 of in-kind production services.

Megumi Sasaki's US entry Herb And Dorothy took the documentary award and a $5,000 cash prize while special recognition went to Chao Gan's Chinese-German film The Red Race.

Don Hertzfeldt's US entry I Am So Proud Of You won the short film award and a $5,000 cash prize; Ram Shweky earned the Kodak Award For Best Cinematography and $6,000 of in-kind services and product for the Israeli film Vasermil; and the Zicherman Family Foundation Award For Best Screenwriter and a $5,000 cash prize was awarded to Alexandru Baciu, Razvan Radulescu and Radu Muntean's Romanian entry Boogie.

This year's festival ran from October 15-19 and featured 122 films including 14 world premieres, 23 North American premieres and 18 US premieres.
