Universal's thriller Munich is the main attraction this weekend as it launches in theinternational marketplace in 27 countries through UIP.

The picture goes out in France on Jan 25 on 450 prints, followed aday later in Australia and Germany on 230 and 400 respectively.

Steven Spielberg's tale of the Israeli response to the killing of11 of its athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games also launches in Israel onJan 26.

The final raft of major releases comes on Jan 27, when Munich goes out in the UK on 350, Italy on 300,Mexico on 275, Spain on 229, and Brazil on 200.

Universal's Pride & Prejudice, which will pass $50m this weekend, launchesin Taiwan on Jan 28 on 60 prints. It currently stands at more than $49.9m.

King Kong hasgrossed more than $309.2m to date, while Focus Features' The ConstantGardener stands at morethan $21.6m and goes out in a couple of small launches in Latin America thisweekend.

Nanny McPhee has grossed $33.1m, and DreamWorks International's romantic comedyJust Like Heavenstands at more than $45.7m. Neither has any major releases scheduled thisweekend.

Buena Vista International (BVI) top brass are giving the animatedhit Chicken Little apush this weekend with launches in Germany, Austria, South Korea, Norway andFinland. The picture has amassed $117m so far.

The Chronicles Of Narnia is slowing down after holding on to the number oneinternational rank for the past five weeks. The children's fantasy has grossed$346m and scored a mighty opening in Hong Kong on Jan 26, grossing more thantwice what BVI's The Incredibles took when it launched there.

The picture is expected to overtake Pirates of The Caribbean's $350m and Armageddon's $355m to become BVI's biggest ever live-action release.

Flightplan, cruising on $107.5m, opens in Japan on Jan 28, whilethe Jet Li action picture Fearless goesout in Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore this weekend. BVI only holdsrights to these four markets and the Philippines, which launches at a laterdate.

Fox International's comedy sequel Big Momma's House 2 launches

day-and-date with North Americain Australia, Spain, Mexico and Taiwan this weekend.

The family sequel Cheaper By The Dozen 2 goes out in Russia on Jan 26 and hasgrossed more than $24.8m at time of writing. Bee Season opens in the UK on Jan 27 and is in theearly stages of release.

The distributor releases the MGM titles Into The Blue in Italy on Jan 27 and The AmityvilleHorror in Japan on Jan28.

Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire has taken more than $590.6m throughWarner Bros Pictures International.

Rumour Has It goes out in the UK and Brazil on Jan 27 and stands at more than$24.6m including Village Roadshow territories.

New Line International's historical epic The New World opens in the UK through Entertainment onJan 27.
