Universal's Love Actually added an estimated $13.8m from 2,725 venues in 26 countriesat the weekend, raising its international cumulative score to $69.5m with 14markets still to open.

The romantic comedy stayed on top in the UK for the third week ina row, adding $5.6m and dropping 29% for a superb $35.6m total.

After only 17 days in release it is Universal's biggest US dollar grossingtitle in the UK this year and the distributor's fifth biggest release ever inthe territory. Currency fluctuations being what they are, Love Actually is Universal's sixth biggest release inpounds sterling on £21.2m.

In Germany Love Actually ranked third behind Finding Nemo and S.W.A.T., adding $1.3m and dropping 24% for $6.4min its third week.

Spain added $760,000 in its third week and ranked fourth, dropping32% for a $4.1m running total.

France opened this weekendthrough Studiocanal and grosses will be reported tomorrow. The Belgian openingproduced $325,000 from 50 sites, which by way of comparison is 24% behind theopening of Bridget Jones's Diary.

The film kicked off its SouthEast Asian campaign with a fine $1.2m gross in Korea from 125 venues. It rankedsecond behind local thriller Old Boy.

Singapore yielded $244,000 from 21 and second place behind theopening of Brother Bear.

Love Actually also went out in its first Latin American territories, openingsecond in Brazil on $420,000 from 143 dates. Mexico opened in seventh on a decent$235,000 from 116 sites.

IntolerableCruelty added $2m from1,250 sites in 28 territories for a $71.5m international running total. Thereare still five markets to go including Japan in April 2004.
