Universal Pictures and Top Up TV have launched the UK VOD service TVBox offering current and library TV shows from the NBC Universal stable.
The service will run within Top Up TV's Anytime package of services and marks the first brand extension of NBC Universal's PictureBox VOD service for features.
The TVBox service will provide Top Up TV viewers with series such as the Law & Order brand, Friday Night Lights, Monk, Quantum Leap, Rockford Files, Miami Vice and Columbo.
Universal Television Group president and COO Jeff Gaspin will receive JTN 2008 Vision Award in Hollywood on November 8 for his contribution to the industry.
