This season's awardsfavourites Chicago, The Hours and Gangs Of New York have all been nominated in the 2003 American CinemaEditors (ACE) Eddie Awards, the third oldest Hollywood awards after the Oscarsand the Golden Globes.

The winners will beannounced at ACE's 53rd annual gala in Beverly Hills on Feb 23. All 450ACE members vote, including active, affiliate and honorary members. This yearKathleen Kennedy will receive the ACE Golden Eagle Eddie Film-maker Of The Yearaward, while John Burnett and Tom Rolf are set to collect ACE Lifetime CareerAchievement honours.

Dramatic feature filmnominees are Kevin Trent for About Schmidt, Thelma Schoonmaker for Gangs Of New York, Peter Boyle for The Hours, Michael Horton for The Lord Of The Rings: TheTwo Towers and Michael Kahn for MinorityReport.

Comedy or musical featurefilm nominees are Nick Moore for About A Boy, Eric Zumbrunnen for Adaptation, Martin Walsh for Chicago, Mia Goldman for My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Leslie Jones for Punch-Drunk Love.
