Broadband video-on-demandservice Movielink has signed a deal with Sundance Channel whereby it will offertitles from the new theatrical releasing division Sundance Film Series and theSundance Channel Home Entertainment catalogue.

Movielink will also create aSundance Channel branded area on its service, featuring titles from Movielink'slibrary of independent films that will be chosen by Sundance Channel each week.

The first Sundance ChannelHome Entertainment titles to become available include The Sleepy Time Gal, starring Jacqueline Bissett and Nick Stahl, Amy'sO, directed by and starring JulieDavis, and Scotland PA, whichstars James Le Gros and Christopher Walken.

"The Sundance Channel issynonymous with quality independent films and innovative programming,"Movielink's vice president of content Jessica Algazi said in a statement.

"So the addition of theseSundance Channel films and the Sundance Channel are on the service will go along way towards meeting our customer demand for arthouse films not widelydistributed theatrically."

Sundance Channel senior vicepresident of film programming Paula Freccero said the deal complemented thecompany's mission of distributing independent films to as wide an audience aspossible.
