Dear Wendy directorThomas Vinterberg is set to return to his Dogme roots with A Man Comes Home,a new project due to shoot in Denmark next spring.

Vinterbergis billing the film, which will be made through production company Nimbus, as"a tragic love story but in an uplifting party surrounding...it will be inthe spirit of Dogma but not a Dogme film."

After theepic sweep of It's All About Love and the satire about US gun culture inDear Wendy, Vinterberg is aiming for a more intimate approach.

Theshooting style, the writer-director promises, will be closer to that of his1998 hit, Festen, with "a more investigating camera."

Casting isyet to be confirmed. Trust will handle world sales.

Vinterberg'sDear Wendy, scripted by Lars Von Trier, is released in the US later thisweek (on 23rd September) by Wellspring Media.
