A Universal Pictures double bill of Timur Bekmambetov's graphic novel adaptation Wanted starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy and Guillermo Del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army bookend the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival, which runs from June 19-29.

Sacha Gervasi's Sundance hit Anvil! The Story Of Anvil is the centrepiece screening while the narrative competition entries include Josh Safide's Directors Fortnight entry The Pleasure Of Being Robbed and world premieres of Seth Packard's HottieBoombaLottie and Lori Petty's The Poker House.

Documentary competition hopefuls include Mark Mann's Finishing Heaven and Darius Marder's Loot. Both the narrative and documentary winners will receive a $50,000 unrestricted grant.
