Warner Bros International Television Distribution (WBITD) has promoted Roni Patel to vice president, sales – Scandinavia, Benelux and Middle East, and Rita Akkari to director, sales – Central and Eastern Europe.

Patel and Akkari will both be based in London and report to Robert Blair, WBITD’s senior vice-president, Northern Europe.

They will spearhead the licensing of WBITD programming – including television series, features, made-for-television films and animation – throughout their respective regions to free and pay-TV outlets over terrestrial, cable, satellite and IPTV platforms.

They will also sell current and library programming to new media clients in the areas of advertiser-supported and subscription-based video-on-demand.
