TheWeinstein Company (TWC) has picked up all international rights to Exodus FilmGroup's CG-animatedcomedy Igor.
TWC will release in North America and TWCInternational president Glen Basner will commence sales at Cannes next week.
Chris McKenna wrote thescreenplay about a mad scientist's hunchbacked lab assistant who dreams ofbecoming a scientist in his own right and winning the coveted Evil ScienceFair.

"Audiences around the world will surely root forour hunchbacked hero as he realises that being evil isn't all its cracked up to be," Basner, who negotiated the deal with Eraklis, said.
"We're thrilled to extend our distributionrelationship with the Weinsteins and have themtake Igor to Cannes," Eraklis added.
TWC's other CG-animatedprojects include thefourth installment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Escape From Planet Earth, Opus, Cricket In Times Square and Hood Vs Evil, the sequel to box office hit Hoodwinked.
Exodus Film Group's CG-animation slate includes The Hero OfColor City and Amarillo Armadillo, on which Howard willserve as executive producer.
Exodus is in pre-production on the live-action/CG mixBunyan & Babe featuring the voice of comedy star Eddie Griffin as Babe the blue ox.
Eraklisis producing Bunyan andTarquin Gotch serves as executiveproducer.
