Frenchsales house Wild Bunch has secured a couple of high profile Japanese and UKsales and a raft of Italian deals for its bulging Toronto slate.

WildBunch closed a deal with Gaga Communications for Arnaud Desplechin's Rois Et Reine and with Comstock forMarziyeh Yeshkini's Afghanistan-set StrayDogs in Japan.

Rois was also soldto Artificial Eye for the UK, while Italy's Bim Distribuzione was another buyeron Stray Dogs.

HayaoMiyazaki's big budget animation Howl'sMoving Castle which played in competition in Venice found berths with LuckyRed for Italy, Telepool from Germany and Optimum Releasing for the UK.

Mikadowas the Italian buyer on Hou Hsiao Hsien's Ozu tribute film Cafe Lumiere, which also played inVenice, while La Feme De Gilles foundan Italian home with Lucky Red and a German one with Telepool.
