Dream Entertainment has soldall rights on the tongue-in-cheek horror picture Monster Man to Tartan Films in the UK and Sharada in Italy.

Both companies plan a summertheatrical release for Michael Davis' picture, which centres on a road tripthat goes horribly awry when two friends are pursued by a gigantic truck. EricJungmann, Justin Urich and Aimee Brooks star.

"Monster Man has continued to attract buyers, demonstrating itsbroad appeal as well as the popularity of the horror genre in general," saidDream chief Ehud Bleiberg.

The picture has sold toMagna Pacific for Australia, Kinowelt for Germany, Warner Newmetro for SouthAfrica, Gaga for Japan, Scanbox for Scandinavia, Gussi for Mexico, VillageRoadshow for Greece, Les Films de L'Elysee for Benelux and Mediacorp forSingapore. The first international release is understood to be through Scanboxin the spring.

Dream co-produced MonsterMan with Lions Gate Films, who willdistribute in North America. Bleiberg, Yitzhak Ginsberg and Larry Rattnerserved as producers.
