Argentine filmmaker Esteban Puenza's Toys (Juguentes) won the Euros 5,000 Feature Film Prize at this year's 'Sehsuechte' International Student Film Festival which attracted more than 10,000 spectators to the festival venues in Babelsberg.

Meanwhile, the Documentary Award was presented to Sandra Jakisch for 08/15 - Leben Am Rand Von Koeln which also won the newly created Prize Against Exclusion.

Kathi Kaeppel's Pulikaukau received the Euros 2,500 Animation Award and the newly-established Samsung Innovation Award was shared by Bernhard Sallmann's 400 km Brandenburg and Austrian filmmaker Marcus J. Carney's Air Square.

The Producer's Award jury had such a difficult time deciding on a final winner that it created a Special Award for Max Wiedemann and Quirin Berg's production of Der Templer in addition to UFA Fernsehproduktion's Euros 5,000 Producer's Award for Marc Minneker's feature film Hier Bei Mir.

Other prizes included the German Newcomer Film Award for David Munos Lazo's Spanish-German co-production M; the Screenplay Award for Gabriele Neudecker's Wer Wind Saet; the Editing Award for Volker Sattel's Unternehmen Paradies; and the festival's Audience Award for Wolfgang Dinslage's Die Katze Von Altona.

The 32nd edition of the traditional annual gathering of student filmmakers presented 209 films from 29 countries.
