New features by Serbian filmmaker Srdan Golubovic, Malaysia's Amir Muhammad and Germany's Ann-Kristin Reyels will have their world premieres at this year's International Forum of Young Cinema in Berlin.

Golubovic's thriller The Trap, his second feature after the outstanding 2001 debut Absolute Hundred, was produced by Belgrade-based Bas Celik with Germany's Mediopolis Film and Hungary's New Budapest Filmstudio and is being handled internationally by Bavaria Film International.

Muhammad's Village People Radio Show is a portrait of former members of a Muslim division of Malaysia's Communist Party now living as farmers in exile in Thailand. (Muhammad's previous film The Last Communist was shown in the Forum last year).

Meanwhile, Reyels is coming to the Forum for the first time with her feature debut Jagdhunde, a family drama starring Constantin von Jascheroff, Josef Hader, Luise Berndt Ulrike Krumbiegel and Marek Harloff, produced by credofilm as her graduation film from Babelsberg's Academy for Film & Television 'Konrad Wolf'.

Other world premieres confirmed so far include Jeanne Waltz's A Parting Shot, Kazuhiro Soda's Campaign, and Li Ying's Mona Lisa, while Austrian filmmaker Anja Salomonowitz's Vienna Film Prize-winning documentary It Happened Just Before (Kurz Davor Ist Es Passiert) about female labour trafficking and French-Canadian Catherine Martin's In The Cities and The Spirit Of Places will be shown in Berlin as international premieres.

The 2007 Forum will also feature the latest film - Tuli (The Circumciser) - by Filipino director Auraeus Solito who last year won the Teddy for Best Feature Film and the Prize of the 14plus competition's International Jury for The Blossoming Of Maximo Oliveros.
