Walt Disney International chairman Andy Bird and PricewaterhouseCoopers India partner and leader of the entertainment media practice Timmy Kandhari will share the 2008 Industry Leadership Award from the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles' (IFFLA).
The award was created to recognise the achievements of industry executives who have had 'a substantial and personal impact on the creation and distribution of Indian themed content globally and have led the expansion of the entertainment and media industry in India.'
IFFLA returns for its sixth year from Apr 22-27 and will screen approximately 40 films including Bollywood By Night 21+ screenings, on-stage interviews with film-makers and the final night awards ceremony.
Bird and Kandhari will receive their award on Apr 25 at a gala luncheon in Beverly Hills.
