Pawel Pawlikowski's My Summer Of Love has racked up$2.3m worth of international sales, according to financing and sales outfitCivilian Content.

Ina statement to the London Stock Exchange it said the sales significantlyexceeded management's expectations. The sales were handled by Civilian's salessubsidiary The Works.

At last month's Toronto Film Festival, the Works sold MySummer Of Love to Focus Features for North America, the CIS, Scandinavia,Australia and New Zealand. Other territory sales include Italy (Fandango),Benelux (Cineart), France (TF1) and Japan (Kinetic). The film has also sold toArgentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile and Israel. It is released in the UKthrough ContentFilm on October 22.

Civilian Content managing director Chris Auty said: "Weare tremendously excited by the sales performance of My Summer of Loveto date. In particular, the sale of the North American rights to UniversalFocus, one of the most highly regarded US distribution companies, is a greatachievement and a reflection of our strong positioning in the internationalfilm sales marketplace."

My Summer of Love is set in contemporary Yorkshireand tells the vibrant tale of two sixteen year olds (played by newcomersNatalie Press and Emily Blunt) who spend a long hot English summer together.The film was part funded and co-produced by Civilian Content subsidiary, TheFilm Consortium.
