LosAngeles-based Dream Entertainment has scored a promotional tie-in deal withlegendary rock band Motley Crue on its upcoming satirical claymation picture Disaster!

Each show on the recentlyreformed Crue's upcoming Red White & Crue world tour will begin with aspecially made claymation short featuring band members saving the world fromimminent destruction.

Highlights fromRoy Wood's tongue-in-cheek feature, in which the band has a cameo rolealongside vulcanoligist Harold Bottoms and his cohorts as they try to save theworld from a rogue planetoid, will play during intermission at each concert.

Disaster! is set to open around the world laterthis year and Dream is close to announcing US and European distributors.

Company principals YitzhakGinsberg and Ehud Bleiberg produced along with John Glen, Travis Wright andEven Astrowski. Paul Benson and Matt Sullivan co-wrote the screenplay.

The deal withMotley Crue came about when the band's Nikki Sixx asked the filmmakers tocontribute footage to the tour.

The band enjoyed massivesuccess during the 1980s and early 1990s and is currently working with MTVFilms/Paramount on an adaptation of their autobiography Dirt.
