The Warner Bros romantic comedy Two Weeks Notice passed $100m at the international boxoffice over the weekend, although complete figures are still unavailable due tothe ongoing Easter holidays in most of Europe.

The horror film Dreamcatcher soared, grossing $9.5m and 1.8m admissions from 2,463screens for a $15.7m international total including Village Roadshowterritories.

In a series of powerful bows, it opened number one in Taiwan on anationwide $422,000 (NT$14.7) and $206,000 (NT$7.2m) in the capital Taipei,including previews.

There were also number one openings in Argentina ($99,700 orPs291,800) and Colombia ($64,800 or Ps184,300). In Japan the film opened fourthon $1.3m (Yen 154.7m) on 230 screens, while Thailand yielded a third placeopening on $165,800 (Baht 7.1m) from 55 prints.

Dreamcatcher finished second in Spain on $1.3m (Euros 1.2m), with 249,300admissions from 271 screens. France produced an unconfirmed second place bow on$342,038 (Euros 318,095). Holland was also expected to open second on $208,300(Euros 193,800) from 60 screens.

Despite the SARS outbreak in parts of Asia, the Stephen Kingadaptation managed fourth place in Hong Kong on $106,400 (HK$830,000) from 27prints.

In its second weekend in Germany, Dreamcatcher dropped a mere 22% to $780,900 (Euros730,000) from 408 prints and an estimated $2.2m (Euros 2.1m) running total.

Elsewhere, What A Girl Wants opened in the Philippines in second place on an estimated$79,000 (PhP 4.1m) from 21 prints in Manila.

The film recorded 52,000 admissions and did better than Clueless (by 83%), Crossroads (79%), She's All That (33%) and 10 Things I Hate About You (55%).

In its thirdweekend in Australia What A Girl Wants grossed $418,800 (AU$693,000) from 171prints for a $1.9m (AU$3.3m) territory total. The film has a $2.3minternational cumulative score.
