Berlin Competition rounds out with seven more features, four of which are world premieres; Soderbergh’s Haywire gets Special Screening.

The Berlinale has announced the final seven final films within its 22-film strong Competition section, 17 of which are eligible for Golden and Silver Bears.

Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod’s Bel Ami, Nikolaj Arcel’s A Royal Affair [pictured], Hark Tsui’s Flying Swords Of Dragon Gate and James Marsh’s Shadow Dancer are among the newly announced films.

In all, 18 films will get their world premieres in the Competition section.

“We are very pleased that a large number of this year’s Competition films are screening in Berlin as world premieres. Many entries in the Competition 2012 revolve around radical changes and departures. They shift perspectives, presenting history and stories from the point of view of those involved,” said festival director Dieter Kosslick.
