Arnold Schwarzenegger will play an arrogant hitman who gets targeted by rivals in the action comedy from MadRiver Pictures.
New partner and head of international Kim Fox will kick off pre-sales on the Croisette on the project from writer-director and SNL cast member Taran Killam, who also stars.
Principal photography on Why We’re Killing Gunther is scheduled to start in June and the cast includes Cobie Smulders, Bobby Moynihan, Paul Brittain, Kumail Nanjiani, Randall Park and Ryan Gaul.
Kim Leadford, Taran Killam, Ash Sarohia and Steve Squillante will produce, and StarStream Media will finance. UTA represents North American rights.
