IM Global, Impuls sign output deal
IM Global has slotted the latest territory into its output network, signing a deal with Impuls Pictures for Switzerland.
The arrangement augments IM Global’s existing framework of relationships with Universum in Germany, Top Film in Russia and Eastern Europe, Sun Distribution in Latin America, and eOne in the UK, Canada and Spain.
IM Global president Jonathan Deckter and svp of legal and business affairs Elizabeth Powell negotiated the Impuls deal with that company’s heads, the twin brothers Peter Schaumlechner and Patrick Schaumlechner.
“I am very pleased to have strengthened and established our relationship with IM Global, one of the top providers of exciting and commercial films,” said Peter Schaumlechner.
“I am thrilled that we have closed our first output deal with such an important company and by that we have a planning security over the next years,” added Patrick Schaumlechner.
“We’re very happy to be in partnership with Impuls, and to bring them into our growing family of similar relationships,” said IM Global CEO Stuart Ford [pictured]. “These guys are the Chopard, Rolex and Roger Federer of Swiss film distribution.”
