The 17th iteration will take place across the Isle of Capri from Dec 27-Jan 2. Writer and archeologist Valerio Massimo Manfredi will serve as president of the festival.
Capri, Hollywood - The International Film Festival founder Pascal Vicedomini produces the festival with the Capri World Institute with support from the Film Department of the Italian Ministry Of Culture, The Campania Region of Italy, The Naples Chamber of Commerce, Smart and Hogan.
“The slogan of this year’s Capri, Hollywood will be Cinema means Solidarity” said Vicedomini, who also produces the Ischia Global Fest and Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion And Art fest.
“We will do without the red carpet and will highlight social matters: we will especially deal with cultural issues involving commitment and solidarity, thus establishing a link with Emilia Romagna, the Italian region recently devastated by an earthquake”.
