Jamie Foxx and Hilary Swank won top individual Screen Actors Guildhonours at the 11th Annual SAG Awards in Los Angeles at the weekend (5), while Sideways won the ensemble cast award.

Foxx followed up on his recent Golden Globe win and Academy Awardnomination for his portrayal of the late Ray Charles in Ray, and is widely regarded as the leadingcandidate to take home the Oscar.

Swank confirmed her status as Oscar favourite with a follow-up toher Golden Globe win for Million Dollar Baby.

Morgan Freeman won best supporting actor for Million DollarBaby, and Cate Blanchettwon the corresponding supporting actress honour for The Aviator.

Sidewayswon the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, Geoffrey Rushwon Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseriesfor The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers, and Glenn Close won the corresponding actress award for TheLion In Winter.

As previously announced,James Garner won the Lifetime Achievement Award.
