Kelsey Grammer has joined John Goodman on the voice cast of Exodus' upcoming animated feature Bunyan & Babe that Tony Bancroft will direct with Jim Rygiel.
Following a successful collaboration on Igor, Exodus Film Group will commission Sparx Animation Studios to provide the CG-animation when shoot commences in July.
Bunyan & Babe is a modern take on the folk story of the lumberjack Paul Bunyan and his sidekick Babe The Blue Ox.
Igor will open in North America on September 19 through The Weinstein Company, which screened 15 minutes of footage to buyers last week.
'The level of quality that Sparx Animation Studio achieved in creating Igor is first-rate and we are excited to continue our relationship with them,' Exodus Film Group's John Eraklis and Max Howard said.
'We are equally thrilled that Kelsey Grammer is joining the cast. He is an extraordinary voice actor who will no doubt compliment the talents of John Goodman,' Eraklis added.
