New Regency and Fox have offered another glimpse into Alejandro G Iñárritu’s upcoming revenge epic starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Fox plans to open The Revenant in the US in limited release on December 25 for an awards qualifying run prior to wide expansion on January 8, 2016.

Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson, Will Poulter also star in the adaptation of Michael Punke’s 2003 novel about an explorer who sets out for revenge after he is left for dead by his team following a bear attack.
