LosAngeles-based production and international sales company Dream Entertainmenthas acquired all international rights to Alex Steyermark's directorial debut PreyFor Rock N Roll and willpremiere the drama at MIFED.

Nadine de Barros, Dream's vice president of sales andacquisitions, negotiated the rights deal with Cinetic Media's Matt Littinrepresenting the film's producers Donovan Mannato, Gina Resnick and GinaGershon.

"This filmdelivers a punch that will sell worldwide," Dream chairman and chief executiveofficer Ehud Bleiberg, who announced the deal with company president YitzhakGinsberg, said in a statement.

"It's a realinside look at the rock n roll world, with a performance-of-a-lifetime by GinaGershon, a supporting cast of funny, sexy, tough-as-nails women, and a great soundtrack."

The film iscurrently being platformed across the US through MAC Releasing - Lions Gate hashome video rights - and stars Gershon as a tough band leader hell-bent onsuccess. Lori Petty, Shelly Cole, Marc Blucas and Ivan Martin co-star.

Gershon, whosecredits include Boundand Face/Off, iscurrently engaged in a multi-city promotional concert tour for the film andwill be the subject of a six-part documentary series by American cable companyThe Independent Film Channel.

Before his firstfeature Steyermark served as a music supervisor and producer who has worked onaround 50 feature films.
