The final judgement in the damages lawsuitbetween Germany's Intertainment and Franchise Pictures is now expected to bemade sometime next week at the earliest.

In a press statement, Intertainment explained thatquestioning of the witnesses had been completed on Tuesday (June 8) and thefinal summing up by the lawyers of both parties was expected on Wednesday andThursday (June 9-10).

The judgement had been expected by Friday (June11) at the latest, but this could not now happen since the courts in the USwould be closed on this day for the funeral of former president Ronald Reagan.

Intertainment added that it "will commentconcretely on the procedure of the trial and the witnesses' statements onlyafter the pronouncement of judgement."
