The inaugural Los Angeles Irish Film Festival will run from October 2-5 at the Clarity Theatre in Beverly Hills.Festival directors Lisa McLaughlin-Strassman and Niall McKay aim to develop the profile of Irish cinema and to this end will programme features, documentaries and shorts and stage on-stage interviews.The event is sponsored in part by the Irish Dairy Board, Culture Ireland, the Irish Film Institute and Bushmills.
