Former HBO Films London executive Lissa Lebel has joinedToronto-based production and distribution outfit Peace Arch Entertainment Groupas director of international sales.

Lebel will play a key role as the company moves aggressively intofeature production and acquisition.

Based in Los Angeles, she will report to Penny Wolf, her formermanager at HBO Films London, who joined Peach Arch in September as executivevice president of international sales and marketing.

During her time at HBO, Lebel assisted in the worldwidedistribution of such titles as Elephant, Maria Full Of Grace, The Life AndDeath Of Peter Sellersand Last Days.

Peace Arch'sfeature slate includes Brad Mirman's romantic comedy Shadows In The Sun starring Harvey Keitel and ClaireForlani, and Sidney J Furie's Gulf War action picture American Soldiers.
