New feature projects by MyBig Fat Greek Wedding director Joel Zwick and veteran UK film-maker RolandJoffe are set to be backed by the new Lighthouse Films media fund, which hasbeen launched by the Munich-based Lighthouse Structured Finance GmbH.

Three of the projects on theLighthouse slate - Zwick's romantic comedy Red Lips, White Lies, andJoffe's adventure drama Marlowe and thriller Cruel & UnusualPunishment - are to be produced by veteran US producer Mark Damon who isalso serving as a consultant to the fund, while the fourth title Showgirls 2is to be produced by Brad Krevoy and Donald Kushner for Junction Films.

The Future Film Group's TimLevy advised on the conception and structure for the Lighthouse fund placementwhich will be drawing on the experience and knowhow of such industry players asformer Viacom executive Thomas B. McGrath, David Molner's Los Angeles-basedproduction services company Screen Capital International and former ConstantinFilm executive Jochen Kamlah.
