Zurich-based production outfit Dschoint Ventschr has signed an output deal with local theatrical distributor Look Now for the release of its films in Switzerland

The first two titles to fall under this output deal are Dschoint Ventschr co-owner Samir's documentary Forget Bagdad - Jews and Arabs - The Iraqi Connection and Stephen Beckner and Michael Huber's English language feature film Birdseye. They both received their world premieres at last month's Locarno International Film Festival where Samir's film received the Critics Week Prize.

Meanwhile, Dschoint Ventschr is currently serving as Swiss co-producer on Matthias X. Oberg's latest feature Stratosphere Girl, which is being produced by Cologne-based Pandora Filmproduktion, with France's Paradis Film and Italy's Paloma Film.

Bavaria Film International is handling international sales on the project which began principal photography in Cologne on September 2 with Belgian 'new face' Chloe Winkel and Sweden's Tuva Novotny (Jalla Jalla!) in the leads.
