Former Lionsgate executive Craig Cegielski to head Graham King's GK-TV

Graham King’s GK Films has launched GK-TV to develop, produce and distribute television programming worldwide and installed former Lionsgate executive Craig Cegielski as president.

Effective immediately, the new division will leverage GK Films’ network of contacts and will encompass co-productions with domestic and international broadcasters and worldwide distribution of original programming.

Cegielski will report directly to company president and CEO Graham King and previously served as executive vice-president, programming and sales, international TV for Lionsgate.

“This is the next logical step for us,” King said. “We see great growth potential in television and are excited to be expanding into this arena. Craig is one of the top television executives in the business and with access to some of the best material, we see the launch of GK-TV as the perfect expansion.”

“It’s an exciting opportunity to work with Graham in the creation of this new division within GK Films,” Cegielski added. “GK-TV will draw upon our shared global experience as we shape the company’s programming strategy and work to establish creative and business partnerships both in the US and internationally.”

Prior to joining Lionsgate Cegielski worked for CBS/Kingworld International, specialising in local production and programming.
