The Producers Guild Of America (PGA) has announced its national board and delegate 2010 election results as Mark Gordon and Hawk Koch were elected co-presidents.

While it is not unprecedented for the PGA to return co-presidents this does mark the first time the nominating committee selected a pair of members to stand for election together.

Gordon and Koch pledged to build solidarity among the group by encouraging producers to hire from within. They also promised to continue to protect the Producers Code Of Credits and to improve healthcare benefits.

Other newly PGA national board officers include vice-president of motion pictures Gary Lucchesi, vice-president of television Hayma “Screech” Washington, treasurer Lauren Shuler Donner, and recording secretary Gale Anne Hurd, which is an appointed post.

Outgoing PGA president Marshall Herskovitz received special recognition at the meeting for serving two two-year terms and was appointed to the post of president emeritus.
