Trinity, Brainstorm Media and EPIX will collaborate with Adobe on the global competition.

The filmmakers behind A Liar’s Autobiography — The Untrue Story of Monty Python’s Graham Chapman are working with Trinity, Brainstorm, EPIX and Adobe to launch a new global online animation competition.

Animate Chapman launches today at animatechapman.com. The contest is open to students, amateurs and professionals and submission are due Oct 22.

Chapman’s career is celebrated through eight audio clips that will provide a lauch point for animations using Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium softward. All forms of animation will be used.

10 winners will be chosen by the filmmakers and jduges.

A Liar’s Autobiography will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. After that, EPIX will release in select US theaters in 3D on Nov 2, and theatrically in the UK in November and Canada. Brainstorm Media is the US theatrical distributor of the film. Trinity is handling UK. SC Films has international rights.
