The distributor plans a Jun 8 theatrical release on the boxing drama starring Tom Arnold, Casey T Evans and Bai Ling.
Todd Bellanca directed Knockdown from a screenplay he wrote with Sasha Levinson. Tabcum Entertainment’s Sarote Tabcum Jr produced with Bellanca.
Entertainment’s Peter Jarowey negotiated the deal with Tabcum Jr and The Movie Machine’s Jon Sheinberg.
Project is a modern take on the 1964 French film of the same name.
Film will start in New York and LA before national rollout.
Market returns to Los Angeles, runs November 11-16.
